We also have an Amazon wishlist with a few things that the rescue as a whole could benefit from. These items range in price from a few dollars to a few hundred depending on the item. Every item is picked out by Kate's Rescue based upon the needs of our many fosters. Without our fosters we cannot save the lives we do, so we do our best to make them comfortable with their foster dogies. This can include anything from the need of toys and blankets, to special kennels or even fans/heaters for the changing seasons.

Being Non-Profit this rescues success is directly reflected by the active community.   Without our community we can only do so much as an animal rescue. There are many ways you can help make a difference in the life of a few furry critters that need a second or even third chance at life. Here are some ways you can help us…

Being foster based, and taking in so many animals there are a lot of general supplies that we would benefit from. Items that many of us might throw away without a second thought that can be put to use elsewhere.

These items include but are not limited to:

Sheets/ Blankets

Pillows /Dog beds

Dog Toys

Trash bags/Tarps/Blue Dawn Dish Soap

Dog Food Wet or Dry

Dog Treats

Play Tubes or other exercise equipment

Other Ways to Help

Physical and Monetary donations are not the only way that you as the community can help us. Being nonprofit it is true that our supplies root from the community, however so does our support network. Here are other ways you can help us!

Like/Share us on Facebook!

Social networking is where many of our dogs that cannot make events get networked actively. Even if you are unable to foster/adopt please feel free to share our posts. The more you share the more chances your friends will share, and their friends, and so on. This helps spread our dogs further than we could network them physically and may catch the eye of their forever family.

Recommend Us!

If you like what we do and cannot foster/adopt recommend us to friends or family that may be looking for their new family member. We have many dogs to choose from, of all shapes, sizes, and ages. We may just have what they are looking for. It not only saves that dog’s life that they might adopt, but it also opens up another foster spot for a dog in need!
Spay and Neuter!

The best way any rescue can be helped, is having one less litter to try and save. We have to rescue surrendered mommas in danger of being put down with their entire unborn litter simply because their owners did not want to deal with the puppies. There is a lot of controversy about spay/neutering. However it is worth the thought at least, check out our education tab for articles or speak with your local vet about the pros and cons. If the litters are controlled, there are far less babies that need to be saved!

For those with more time or space on their hands that want to directly influence the rescue there is always the option to foster one, or more of our in need babies. We are always looking for a foster for some pup or another. All necessary supplies and medical needs are tended for by the rescue. The foster only need to give the animal a warm place to sleep and some possible TLC. If you are interested in fostering you can fill out the Foster Application (Link below) and email it to us. Please be sure to include in your email the preferences you may have. Such as: only one dog;small dogs; puppies; must like dogs/cats/kids; ect.

Please note the application cannot be completed online in the browser. Must be downloaded or printed!
